AGHS Old Girl Association<\/h3>

My work here is purely on a pro bono basis. I sit on the Board of Alliance Girls' High School and work with the management to ensure that all activities that appertain to the school are efficiently and effectively implemented. \nBy way of implementing the same, I conceptualised and developed the official website www.alliancegirlsalumni.org. I also continue to recruit new members and have over the years developed a data base of contributing members while putting in place a text message based system to communicate with them. I also developed and put in place a fundraising structure which gave birth to the continuing bursary fund that has so far educated over 40 girls in the last 8 years. My work also involves organising reunion and fundraising events which I have been doing for the past 8 years.\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

African Virtual University<\/h3>

As the Brand Marketing and Communications Specialist, I helped to implement some of AVU\u2019s brand Marketing and Communications strategies mainly in the areas of PR and media and e-communications while always linking these to AVU\u2019s Business strategy and ensuring that AVU is seen as the lead source of eLearning in Africa. I was also acting as \u2018editor in chief\u2019 for content in AVU\u2019s communications inclusive of their 2011 February newsletter which I conceptualised, wrote and developed (www.avu.org). I ensured that AVU's services were broadcast in the right channels to deliver significantly more impact and reach in the ICT and education sectors and give the products the best chance of commercial success. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
